don't go early white you'll make nothing. for white to be good you need 5/5 dp ssa, baller, fuzzy alts etc. Stay mixed until you reach ssa then get popstar and go blue since blue is the cheapest and easiest hive to make honey with. For red & white like i previously mentioned to be good you need tons of late game gear fully gifted hives 5/5 dp ssas fuzzy alts among other things.

truePetal Belt > Honeycomb Belt > Petal Wand If you're actually close to buying the Petal Belt (15 billion honey, 25 star jellies) then sure: buy that. Otherwise, stop saving for the petal wand and start saving for the honeycomb belt instead.
In short, it's freaking expensive. The BSS wiki shows you amounts. Get gifted puppy bee and a bond from treat amulet if you plan on focusing on bee levels. Level bees as often as you can to be the same level as higher level bees will give more honey. So level hive from 15 to 16, 1 or 2 bees at a time.
